Pinkcufflynx: A Time To Love

  • Juan · 3 months ago
I think there's no answer to that question.
The person who believes that love can happen at any moment will never understand why it takes time for some people to "feel the love". In contrast, a person who believes that loves takes time, will always doubt that a person who fall in love right away, "click" or just met "the one" have found true love. In both cases people have found true love that lasted for years. In both cases also people have been disappointed with their partners. So, in both cases the chances are exactly the same either for the good things as well as for the bad things.

I think bottom line is that no matter what you think about true love, you are right. But one group can't say the other group is wrong, and vice versa. You stick in what you believe.

For me in general I believe that it is going to take me a long time to really love someone because I have a different scope on the word love.

I think time is a variable factor in terms of talking about falling in "love". I believe it is very dependent upon each persons openness to it and the amount of time a person has experienced these types of feeling. These two things can be a great judge that can decide how long it can take for a person to fall in "love".

I quote love because it is a term that is used rather loosely and should be taken more serious than it is now day's.

I agree that the word love is used rather loosely nowadays. I feel like if you truly love someone then it would come out in your actions towards them vs them constantly saying it. Like they say, "action speak louder than words".

I never thought about it like that before in regards to if someone has experienced it before then they know what it feels like.

I believe Love takes time to develop. Why, because it takes time to see all the different parts of a person. To like them and enjoy them in their entirety. Even the little things that are annoying, but you accept them because they are a part of the woman or man you love. Time is imperative when it comes to Love in my opinion.

So does that mean it's different types of love?

What if you love a persons personality, or their being. Is that considered a different type of love vs the love you feel when someone does something annoying (as you said ;) does that type of love for them override that annoyance?

Yes, there are different kinds of Love. I can love your personality and not want to be with you sexually. I can love your being and not be intimate with you. I can love the way you are as a person, be annoyed by the way you chew gum and accept that because it is a part of you. Yes, that kind of Love does override an annoyance. You can't stay annoyed with them because you love them and it is a part of them.
